Merry Christmas to you and your family as I hope you have a wonderful day filled with lots of love ❤ I know not everyone will have the opportunity to be with their loved ones or have Covid so my heart goes out to you so much but please remember all of the great times you had with them in the past and this is also a time of year where a lot of people struggle with mental health so I want to take this opportunity to ask if your okay because I know Christmas can be extremely stressful for a lot of people especially if they haven't been able to get everything done or are feeling lonely today so please check in with your family and friends or send them a nice card
Today is my 26th birthday and I just want to say thank you for being in my life because I really appreciate everyone who makes the time to read my messages as it means a lot to me but hopefully more people can reply back to me as I hardly hear back from anyone these days. The favourite part about checking my phone everyday is reading all of the kind messages I get from people and it always brings a smile to my face. The best birthday present you can give me is to please attend the 2 events that I am going to be at over the next 2 Saturdays selling my Woodturning items starting with the Lalor Park Hub Markets this Saturday September 3 from 8am to 1pm at 38 Heffron Road Lalor Park and the other event which is the most important one is the Living On The Spectrum Gala Day at Cathy Freeman Park (Next to ANZ Stadium at Sydney Olympic Park) next Saturday September 10 from 10am to 4pm which is organised by the amazing Autism Advisory and Support Service who are such an incredible organisation that does a fantastic job helping those people like myself who have autism so please attend to support this really good cause which is very close to my heart. Merry Christmas ⛄ I hope you have a great day and please remember to spread kindness this year more than ever as so many people have done it tough this year. We can all do something simple such as calling someone or sending them a nice message letting them know how much they mean to you as that is the best present you can give someone which doesn't cost anything. Please don't forget to check in on those people who are either alone or unable to see their family or friends today as Christmas can be a really hard time for them and what are your plans for today. Please appreciate the small things in life such as being able to spend the day with family and friends
Today is R U OK? Day so I just want to let you know how important it is to ask someone if they are okay and to remind them that your there for them if they need help or are struggling with life as I know this can be such a hard time at the moment for so many people because most of us are in lockdown right now which makes it hard to get the help you need but you can always give me a call anytime you want or send me a message as I'm always here for you or anyone who is feeling lonely. My 28 year old cousin commited suicide 6 weeks ago and I honestly didn't expect him to do anything like that so it's just a reminder to make sure you check up on everyone to see how they going or let them know you care about them as I find we all need someone in life who is actually going to make time for you when your not okay because that means people know there is someone they can reach out to for help without feeling like they are annoying or being a burden to them which most people tell me when they don't want to open up. Please give your family, friends, neighbours or even strangers a compliment as that can make there day feel so much better or do something nice for them as that could definitely cheer someone up who might be having a bad day and always be kind to people no matter who they are because it's those simple little things that can really make such a huge difference to their life. Happy New Year 😄 I hope you have a fantastic 2021 and how was 2020 as I know for most people it was an extremely hard year but that has made us stronger because we have all got through it 😠I would love to know the highs and lows that you had in 2020 as it's always interesting to hear your own experiences.
